I've got a problem with my Apple ID on iTunes that isn't really a huge issue, but is something I'd like to get fixed.
Since getting my iPhone in 2007 I've used my email address from college as my Apple ID. Shortly after graduating last May, I no longer was able to access that email address, meaning the iTunes receipts and such that are emailed there aren't getting to me. I have another email address of course that I'd like to use as my new ID, however when I try to change my email address to my Hotmail account in iTunes it tells me that email address is already being used for an Apple Account; I assume I registered it a while ago but never really used it for purchasing and such.
I'd like my Hotmail account to be my new Apple ID, but I don't want to lose access to my iTunes downloads if I begin using that account. Is there any way I can merge the two, or will I be okay to simply sign in with my Hotmail account?
