iTunes Application Update Glitch [REALLY ANNOYING]

Hi,

So you know when you update iPhone applications on your iTunes, you go to apps, and it says '3 Updates Available', then you click it and download the updates you want. When i do this it's all fine and i click the 3 updates i need to update, then when all three are happily downloading about 9 other downloads randomly appear, and they are updates for applications that i deleted from my iTunes and computer and iPhone about a year ago, yet these updates pop up and obviously i don't want nor need them.

How can i stop this 'glitch'?

I've never had this issue. Are you sure the file has been removed from your computer?

Well, when i deleted the app it came up with the option 'Do you want to keep files or move to trash' (or something similar) and i moved to trash for all.

Does Anyone have a solution for this?
