Dad used to sync his ipod Nano (4th Gen) with his Windows Computer. Now he has a MacBook Pro and doesn't want to lose the songs on his ipod from the previous sync (The older PC is stashed away).

Syncing prompts this message: "Erase this ipod and sync with this computer" NO... I don't want to do this. I've also tried clicking "Transfer Purchases from this ipod" and it does nothing.

How can we keep the songs that are already on his ipod and sync with his new computer? I have tried many online tutorials but there are outdated either with an older version of itunes or newer ipod.

I attached a screenshot

Senuti

Do a search for a program called Senuti. It will allow you to copy all of the music on your iPod to the Mac. Import this info into iTunes and sync the iPod
