Hi
I'm on a iMac 21" with a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB of DDR3 Ram. Ever since the new year (2011) I've been having issues with iTunes (I have a version before the current one, so 10.x). Whenever I click on the iTunes icon, the application starts up normally. After a couple of seconds the application screen shows. Before I can click anything, or go anywhere, two pop-ups show up, one prompting me to download the newest version of iTunes, the other telling me that the certificate for this server is invalid. So I try to click on "don't download". Nothing happens. The same for "download". So I try the second pop-up. Doesn't work either. This has been going on since the beginning of 2011, and the only way to end the app is force quit it. I can't access my library, can't sync my iPhone... What gives?
EDIT: Here is a screenshot of the issue: http://cl.ly/3tIo
