Hey I don't know if this is the proper place to post this but hopefully someone could direct me to the right place if it isn't.

I just bought my first macbook (15" haswell) and I've been setting everything up and when I plug my phone into my computer iTunes sees it and then when a log in box appears it has someone else's email already in it. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Never heard of this before, why not just delete it and enter your correct information?

I did delete it, but I don't want to be using someone else's stuff. It just seems odd.

search of the person's email shows that it isn't someone working for apple (as far as I can tell) http://tinyurl.com/kl676dr

this usually happens when you've installed apps associated with someone else's App Store account (i.e., pirating Mac App Store apps)
