I have a question regarding losing audio quality after you import a song into iTunes. For example, I download a song from the internet, I import it into iTunes, after playback in iTunes, the clarity of the song has decreased. I am aware of the fact that when you download a song, it does lose quality. Is there any software or a way to clear up the clarity of a downloaded song to improve it? In iTunes, some songs, you have to turn the volume up and other songs the quality is good. Again, I know there is a big difference between importing songs from a CD, iTunes Store, and the internet.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Come on people, I know I am not the only one with this problem. When you import or add a song into iTunes 9 or 10 that you downloaded from the internet, the audio quality of that particular song has decreased. So, in playback, the song is not as crisp or clear. Not every song is like this.

Do I have to change any settings in iTunes or change the way I am importing a song into iTunes?
