I am in the process of rebuilding my very large iTunes library (weeding out duplicates, etc.) and in the process of using the Backup To Disc option. Simple enough, but here is the rub:

I am using itunes library of another mac to backup to disc about 9gb of itunes music/movies/tv shows to dvd-r disc.

However, if I was to move those items into my "real" itunes library (read: connected to appletv), the attribute for the media item is lost, and if I was to backup on the "real" itunes library (again with backup to disc, but with "only new items" options selected), it will attempt to backup the original items that were already backed up? Is there a way to flip the "archive bit" on said media item that is already backed up, so as not to have to back up this data again?

Thanks,

Uberjason
