Itunes Bootcamp and OSX driving me insane or am I just a nitwit?

I have an Imac with Leopard 10.5.5 installed Itunes and also have a bootcamp partition with Vista on it (Warhammer online!) anyway Im trying to access my Itunes database from bootcamp Im using Macdrive 7 to read/write to my OSX partition I can do this for images and more but for some reason when I patch Itunes there nothing happens. It wont see my music files or anything elese.

Has anyone doen this? even if its on an external drive? Im looking for a way to share the music so It will be universal in Itunes under vista and or OSX if possible?

Any help would be appreciated.

Keep things simple. I had the same idea and it doesn't work that well. You don't need two parallel libraries. Just keep one.
