itunes/ bootcamp same library?

Hello,

Bound to have been asked a thousand times, but i can't figure out how to get it work perfectly.

Songs unlinked, etc...

How do I open the same ltunes library in both osx and win7 running bootcamp?
The library is on a second hd in my mac pro...

Personally, I use iTunes on Windows in a 'read-only' fashion: I keep my main iTunes library and all of its music files on my OS X partition. Then, when I'm on Windows and want to use iTunes, I copy ONLY the relatively small library (metadata) file to my Windows partition. When opening iTunes, it will then update its database, so that all music files are correctly linked. It takes a few minutes, but is worth it to me.

yeah, thats what i've been doing... just seems like there should be a better way...
