I have some mp3s i want to burn onto disc to take on a trip with me. I'm driving cross country, and these are mp3s. My GM truck's radio plays mp3's, i can read data discs. I've done it before. These are books or speeches; they're long, sometimes 50 or more minutes, so burning them as audio would be cumbersome and time consuming.
I've had no trouble reading mp3's before but for some reason this current batch my truck's CD player just won't read. I get a "Data Error." It recognizes the name, but will only play one, even after mutliple burns which leads me to believe there's something up with these files. The strange thing is though, I can open them in QuickTime or iTunes no problem.
I have a lot of them, 40 or more. If I load these mp3 files into iTunes 8, then burn that as data... has iTunes rendered the audio into its own file? If so, maybe that will work in my truck.
Thanks so much for any replies.
