I've burned a few CDs lately and they all seem to have problems with the last few tracks being REALLY skippy and scratchy. The CDs do it on all CD Players, so I know that's no the problem. I haven't tried to burn a CD with any other programs because I don't know of any (I'm a recent switcher).

Is this a common problem? I'm using a 867 TiBook. I've had it on a sturdy surface every time.

I use Roxio's Toast for audio in everyday use, and their Jam add-on for pro Red book CD's when the formatting is critical.

Are you pushing a lot of info onto a 700Mb disc, and are you burning at high speed.

In my experience, burning at over 8x can cause problems, as can trying to get too near the disc limit.

Try burning at 4x and leave a track off.
