Hi there,

This afternoon I backed up my iPhone 5 before I went into my local Apple Store to have it replaced (faulty sleep/wake button).

I've just gotten home and plugged the replacement iPhone into iTunes and attempted to restore it from the backup I did a couple of hours ago and it gives me an error saying "iTunes could not restore iPhone "iPhone 5" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone that is being restored."

I literally did this backup a couple of hours ago and iTunes didn't pop up any errors during the backup process. What do I do? I have all my text messages and about 5,000 photos in my camera roll that I cannot lose!

The faulty iPhone and the replacement were/are both running 6.1.4.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Same damn issue :( Please tell me if you figure something out :(
