iTunes can't find my music files

Okay.

I've had my mp3's on a hard drive, linked via Airport Extreme to my iTunes.

Recently I moved all the files to a larger external hard drive and attached that to my Airport Extreme. In iTunes>Preferences>Advanced, I changed my iTunes music folder location to the external hard drive iTunes Music folder.

Two problems: iTunes can't find any of these files when I click on the songs. My whole library is unlinked to the corresponding mp3's. Second, whenever I turn of iTunes, the iTunes Music folder reverts to my laptop's hard drive.

How do I get my music back?

Hold option down as you click the iTunes icon.

It will present you with an option to select an iTunes Library.
Navigate to your preferred folder, and hit ok.
