Okay, I downloaded and installed iTunes 10 a coupla weeks ago.

I am looking at my library via the List View. Everything is listed, however when I try to right-click and play something, it says that iTunes cannot locate the music and wants me to direct it to where the music is located. Problem is, I don't know where it is or why it was moved or why iTunes can't find it.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I would do what you can to find the music, then make sure the library is there to support it. I would suggest trying spotlight. Did you have a time machine backup you could use in case something went wrong?

I recently had an issue where I installed snow leopard. I keep my music files in the shared folder so my wife and I could share our music, it was all bought with CDs. We each had to install the itunes library file in our own login under the itunes folder. Sometimes making sure that file is in the right location can help alleviate issues.
