itunes cant recognize ipod touch 4

hi,
i just bought a brand new ipod touch 4th gen running 4.3.5

i just jailbroke it using redsnow and everything went smooth
and also i rebooted it with redsnow bec. its thethered

but for some reason when i plug it into itunes
itunes cant recognize it, nothing pops up at all

i dont know what i did wrong, cydia and everything is working fine
but when i plug it into itunes to put music or apps in it
it doesnt pop up

please help
