I got this popup message today when using iTunes, I have never seen this message before and am afraid my computer is trying to do something I don't want it to. Has anyone seen this and is it trying to connect to Apple or do I need to do something to fix this. By the way, I clicked cancel and haven't seen the message since.

It may be your clock settings:

Mac Preferences > Date & Time
select: Set date and time automatically

check to be sure your time zone is also correct

For Date & Time the box was checked and the time zone was correct. After this happened I quit iTunes and have since reopened it, still haven't seen this issue.

Same, haven't seen it since the day I posted it. I am just going to assume everything is ok for now and hopefully my Mac isn't trying to connect to some server I don't want it to.
