I've noted quite a few iTunes cards for sale out of Viet Nam at some pretty low prices. I was told by a friend of mine to stay away from them as the codes are generated by iTunes Code Generating software and that on occasions some iTunes accounts are being shut down due to this. Anyone know anything about this?

Yes, if its too good to be true, it probably isn't generally speaking you can save between 5-10% depending on promotions from various retailers but usually not much. Target sold $25 cards for $20 on black friday for example. I would stay away.
