Hi,
I just burned an audio CD from iTunes and listened to it in the car. The volume of this CD is extremely low compared to other ones I own, and especially to store-bought discs. I've made several discs with iTunes lately and it seems to always be pretty low. The sound is great, but the volume has to be about twice as high to get the same loudness! Does anyone know of why iTunes burned CD's seem to have significantly lower volume than their store-bought counterparts?
Just for technical details - I used the latest version of iTunes, with a combination of iTunes store bought songs and 128kb aac's ripped from original store bought dics. I don't think the sound check was on, nor any other special options.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe a way to make a better/louder cd?
Thanks!
