Greetings everyone on my 1st post. I am recently retired & relatively new to computers & not very computer literate. I recently had "Yosemite OS" installed to replace my original Snow Leopard & I'm trying to get acquainted.
I play bass guitar & do some overdub recording & then import to & CD backup burn on my mid 2009 MacbookPro.
I have a problem with having iTunes override my choices with how I want the burned CD playback to appear in the iTunes window. This is a new problem.
When inserting the CD for playback, the prefix numbers I give to the recorder numbers listed in the 1st "name" column to establish burning & playback order, is overridden in playback, by the column containing song titles - and the songs playback order is alphabetical by default. I know that clicking the "name" header will give me the numbered order but why is that overridden in the first place? The burning occurs in my selected order. Why also would my selected choices for the displayed columns (name, bitrate, artist, album, comments etc.) be overridden by a different set of default columns?
Thanks for any help with my understanding. Be well.
