I'm trying to submit my iOS 4 app via iTunes Connect and I see the following error after I answer the "My primary target audience is users under 17 years of age" question. I select No and see:
"You indicated whether or not your primary target audience is users under 17 years of age, but you did not click Enable iAds. If you want to enable iAd Network advertising for your application, you must do both."
There is an Enable iAds button on this page, but I do not want to enable iAds. This seems like a strange error message.
Has anyone seen this recently? Any ideas?
Edit: When I say that my app doesn't use encryption, it's bringing me to the Enable iAd Advertising Network page where I see the error described above. It seems like I should be able to say no to iAd before this point...
Edit2: Ok, if you don't want iAd, don't say whether or not you're targeting users under 17 years of age on this page. Just click Continue without doing anything. Apple could really use a "No iAd" button here...
