The iTunes connect mobile app on my iPad is reporting negative units in the sales graphs. According to Apple's pdfs, a negative number means refunds, but there are way too many (relative to sales) for that to be realistic and in addition our apps are NOT so unstable and poor that so many users would require a refund (IMO, and in the opinion of many we've tested them with, they're actually quite good). And, we have not received any really negative feedback, no angry emails, etc. You would think that at least some users would do so before requesting a refund. AND, with Apple's "all sales are final" policy, it makes even less sense why they would authorize so many refunds, especially without letting us know.

Thing is, I just got done going through all the sales reports by downloading them from the actual iTunes Connect website from my Mac, and I can't find any records of ANY refunds anywhere. So this implies one of three things:

1. There really were a ton of refunds and I need to figure out how to discover what the heck's going on
2. iTunes Connect Mobile is crap and just reporting whatever it feels like
3. I'm misunderstanding what the columns mean. For example, on a certain time setting, it reads:

Total | Units | %
2 ....... -4 .... -45%

Anyone with any tips or clarification? Thanks...

I thought the negative units were the difference between today's sales and yesterday's sales. So for example of you sold 10 units yesterday and 5 units today, you would have a -5. Then if you sold 10 units tomorrow, you would have +5.

It reads units, then the change from last week, then the change from last week as a percent.

Ahh, that makes more sense (though, why then aren't the columns "units", "change", and "% change"?). Thanks! (load off my mind) So if I have it set to 1 week, and it says units were -4, it means there were 4 fewer sales than the past week?

What browser are you using? It might just be aligning the columns wrong or something...

It's actually the iTunes Connect Mobile app for iPad. And regardless, the problem is that there are only three columns which were the ones I listed above.
