I'm using iTunes 10.6 on a MacBook running 10.6.8. I have been consistently having issues with downloading music from iTunes. The problem I am having is that many times, I end up with "incomplete" songs. iTunes thinks that it has downloaded the entire song, but it in reality has not. It seems to happen when my 3G modem (a Verizon USB760) grabs a new IP address This has been happening on a regular basis with the past few versions of iTunes (I think going all the way back to 10.1 or 10.2).

Anyone have an idea how to correct this issue? Apple has been no help. Short of a fix, is there a way to change the concurrent downloads to just 1 (instead of 3) so that if it does happen, it will only mess up on one song rather than all 3 that are currently downloading?
