I had a little program that I downloaded a while ago that would run in the top bar up by the time. It was just a little thing that put a forward, back and pause/play button up there. I had to reboot yesterday and now it's gone. Anybody know where I can get another little program to do that? Thanks..

OS 10.5.7 / G5

Was the app set to launch at login? Is it in the Login Items (System Prefs->Accounts)?

Try opening the app, and see if it has an option to automatically launch when you start the computer.

Hmm... there is nothing for my login items. I don't recall deleting the program.

Could it be "You Control Tunes"?

Also, good advice from poster above.

it's not "You Control Tunes"

I just looked that up and that is a menu up there in the menu bar.

This thing that I had was just a Back arrow, Pause/Start button and Forward arrow up in the menu bar right next to the time machine status.....

Did it look anything like this?

That's a Synergy theme. I used to use it.

I don't think it is Synergy. First off, I didn't have to pay for it. 2nd of all, I just installed Synergy and looked through the themes and that theme is not there, nor are the 8-balls as controls. Not that I ever used the 8 balls but that is just one that stood out to me.
