iTunes convert to 128 AAC problem

I tried this feature out, there were a few songs that it wouldnt do so would stop and not go past them. This isnt a problem at the moment though.

Here is what is happening, I tried it the first time as I mentioned and all seemed good. So I thought that I would re-rip all my CD's at lossless as I have the space, then I can just use the convert to 128 feature again thus overwriting the files on my iPhone.

But, they arnt overwriting with the new files when I sync.

Any Ideas?
