itunes cover art not changing

looking at itunes with it being in list form and the album art in the small box to the bottom left.
when i click on a song the cover art comes up, but when itunes changes the song (me not clicking on a song) the album art sticks to the last cover,
it never changes until i click on a song and it then updates.

not a major problem and i've learned to live with it but its bugging me constantly.

any help??
