iTunes crashes when attempting to delete file

Hey all,

This problem is driving me nuts. Any time I try to delete a file (song or podcast), iTunes crashes. Sometimes I get to to the "Move to trash or delete from library" screen but sometimes the popup menu half loads and then crashes the program. Any ideas?

Is this on a Mac or Windows based machine?
