Itunes - Crashes when burning a CD need to burn music for my upcoming wedding

O/S 10.4.11 Itunes 9.2.1 (5) Quick time 7.6.9

I need a quick solution: Need to burn music for my upcoming wedding.

CD/DVD burner works outside of Itunes.

When trying to burn a CD in Itunes it crashes and asks if you would like to restart it.

Not the factory CD: But as stated above does work outside of Itunes.

Music is not locked either

Any Ideas anyone.

P.S Please note I have been told? This could be an issue with Itunes 9.2.1 not liking O/S 10.4.1 can anyone confirm.

Also I am thinking about getting a power G5 Desktop would I have this problem running O/S 10.4 and Itunes 9.2.1

have you tried lowering the burn speed to minium?

I know this sounds crazy, but try a diffrent brand of CDs. Macs tend not to like Memorex branded ones sometimes, and the cheaper brands as well.
I can't burn a DVD with any memorex branded CD or DVD's on my MacBook Pro 13" or PowerBook G4 12" however I can use other brands.
