When I try to copy a cd in iTunes (Windows) by using the AAC or MP3 encoder itunes crashes. The error report says that it is a conflict between iTunes and the file quicktimeaudiosupport.qtx. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still crashes. This is from the error report:

"Faulting application itunes.exe, version 7.6.0.29, faulting module quicktimeaudiosupport.qtx, version 7.6.1.0, fault address 0x0009e32d."

What is going on?

Has anyone answered this question? I had to go back to itunes 7.4.3.1 to find a version that would convert songs from a cd into the itunes library without crashing with the quicktimeaudiosupport.qtx error.
