iTunes Credit in Mac App Store?

So now that the store is up and running and people have made purchases, do we know whether you can purchase software using your iTunes credit or if the store jumps right to your credit card?

hi.. i just bought Angry Birds.. and AppStore use my iTunes credit from iTunes gift card...

I appreciate the reply. I ended up googling until I found the answer. It seems as though the iTunes store credit is applied to purchases via the mac app store.

yes it works for both. one thing to make note of though is if you use your credit on the app side it will still show the previous amount until you go to itunes store and click on your account.

I'm so happy that iTunes store credit works with the Mac Store. Over the holidays got $130 in iTunes gift cards from my mom, grandma & girlfriend (they know how I like my apps). So I'm happy to know I can spend some on Mac apps too
