Hi,
I'm fairly new here, but have just had a bit of a problem with my macbook.
I had my system freeze up on me for the second time in a week today (where the screen goes grey and it says to restart). But this time, when I reboot, and open iTunes it says that my itunes library is damaged and it has to create another one. All of my songs are still there, but my playlists etc aren't.
Is there anything I can do to get my old one back?/is there something really wrong with my mac?
Thanks in advance
Edd

Duplicate the iTunes Music Library.xml file in [Home Dir]/Music/iTunes/

Then rename the iTunes Library file in that folder and load iTunes and try and import the duplicated iTunes Music Library.xml file, with File Menu==>Import.

TBH your disk may well be having problems so doing a backup of your files is probably a good idea ;).

I can't seem to get it to work, but no biggie.
Thanks for the help, hopefully my hdd will be allright, and this was just a one off thing. Could it be down to the fact that I have less than 2gb free space on my hdd?
