Ok so me being a bit of a wally and upgrading and getting new Mac's all the time , i seem to have forgotten to Deauthorise my Macs before i sell them!!!!

and now i can not share my music on any other Machine ARRRRRRGGGGG

i know there is a fix for this but i can not recall what it was .


HELP my new Mac Mini needs your help

I think, you’ll have to call Apple and let them deauthorize all your computers. Then you can authorize the ones you still own.
 
Apple seems to take it's own sweet time deauthorizing, but they'll do it. You'll get an email note saying "we don't usually do this, but..." :D

I had to have them do it after a older laptop up and died on me.

It seems to me they should have a system in place that allows the end user to deauthorize selected computers from the store, or from their website. It might require that authorized computers "phone home" every month or something like that - but it would be nice. I have a feeling this is going to become a bigger issue 3 or 4 years down the road.
