I just wanted to install a new app from my office PC (which I seldom use for syncing), and while installing the new app it deleted all other apps.

Is there a way to get them back?

Here are a few hints:

  • Happened with my new iPhone, with office PC sync
  • I tried already 'transfer purchases' and 'restore from backup'
  • I have 2 PCs with iTunes, home and office, both authorized
  • All apps are gone from the office PC
  • Home, I don't know, hope they are there
  • I also have an iPod Touch with the same Apps
  • Music was untouched

Is there a way SAFE way to get them either back from my home PC or from my iPod Touch?

ITunes will let you redownload apps, as long as you're signed in with the correct account.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

iTunes on your iPhone will let you download previously purchased apps.

Your home pc will still have all your apps like normal!

I am back at home. I could transfer all the old apps back to the iPhone.

The Apple phone support guide me through. I am glad that worked!
