Hi

I would like to tomorrow play some music downstairs from my library that is upstairs (on an iMac that I can't move)

I would like to use iTunes DJ but as far as I can see this can't be done on a shared library. Is there a way round this, can I use home sharing and my iPhone perhaps?

Thanks

ajo

What about just using Remote on your iPhone to control iTunes on your Mac?

My iMac is upstairs, and i want the music played downstairs, I have a MacBook Pro to use and stream to, but iTunes DJ won't work on shared libraries.

Ah ok. What about using DJay? You can access your shared iTunes library through it and play whatever you want. There's even a companion iPhone and iPad app that will allow you to control it from anywhere.
