iTunes doesn't allow sequential track ordering on guest iPhones?

Hey, although I'm an Apple-only user at home, I do have to use a Windows 7 desktop at work.

I have iTunes installed on it for some basic functions, such as plugging in my iPhone to play music through my speakers.

I do this by clicking on my iPhone and looking at the music on it within iTunes, then clicking on a track.

However the tracks are in an almost random order (certainly not track-sequential) and it doesn't seem to allow me to order them any other way.

Is there a way round this?
