i really need to move all my music from my imac to macbook to tomorrow because tomorrow the imac is leaving. what i did was copy the itunes map with all the files in it to hdd put it on macbook, open itunes, no songs apeare so i click inport and click the .XML file, when i click on import or yes or something there's a message that say's not all your songs will be imorted because they weren't found,after the import i have 427 songs but on my old imac i had 699 songs, i click on itunes music map with all the artist names and i check with my music in my old imac in itunes and i see that like 230 songs are missing and that some maps like aerosmith aren't there in itunes music, so i click on itunes preferences, advanced, general and then on the first thing i click choose a other name and i make a new map called itunes music 2 then on ok and then in the menubar advanced and consolidate library it names all the songs names and when it is finished i look in itunes music 2 and i see that not the same but other maps of artists are missing and other songs... i do this another time with itunes music 3 and then it's the same as itunes music 2,,, please help me, i love music and need it what's the problem?
