ITunes doesn't recognize iPhone in recovery mode

So I wanted to wipe all my data and settings on my iPhone but the load bar didn't move for 1 hour. So I put my iPhone in recovery mode. But now iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone. Does anybody know what to do?
