Hi,
My Iphone 4 wont connect to Itunes (10.1.2.12).
meaning itunes doesnt even recognize it

Before i updated to itunes 10.1.2.17 i had itune 9.2 and it worked fine.

I have have:
Windows Vista Home premium 64 bit

-uninstalled and reinstalled itunes
-deleted all itunes component and reinstalled itunes
-try restarting the apple mobile device and ipod (service these programs never stopped working but i read in a lot of forums to restart it)

I had itunes 9.2 before and had chance to back up my iphone before i updated.
My USB drive work perfectly
the PC recognizes the Iphone(opens up the camera)
the iphone cable work perfectly
Ive plugged my iphone on other PCs and Macs and itunes recognizes it

I was wondering what to do? The only thing i can think is making my phone go into DFU mode but then if itunes still doesn't recognize I'm screwed

Put it into DFU mode while plugged in to the computer and iTunes open. Press the lock and home button for 10 secs, then release power, still holding home for another 10.
If this doesn't work, do the same thing on the anther computer, let it do a restore, then bring it back to your main computer.
I have had this problem, and the only way that worked is DFU mode restore from a different computer, then bring it back to my main computer to restore.
