iTunes doesn't start a new song.

I dowloaded the latest iTunes software and everything was fine until I noticed that iTunes keep the song paused while Im hearing another song.

For Example:
Im hearing song 1, and at the middle I change it and go to song 2. When i go back and I click play on song 1, it starts where I left it the other time.

Is this part of the new software or something?
Please help me to deactivate this or how to prevent it.
