I am running iTunes on MacBook Pro, Mac OSX 10.4.11
I close my Mac's lid and go out for lunch.
After coming back, when I reopen my MacBook Pro, iTunes is not starting automatically.......What will I have to do to run my iTunes automatically after opening my MacBook Pro?

this is normal. when you close the MacBook Pro it will sleep and iTunes will pause. when you open the the lid and wake it iTunes wont start playing again and continues to be paused.

Try the AppleScript Now Where Was I?: "Use this applet to start and quit iTunes: when run while iTunes is playing, it will remember the currently playing track and quit iTunes; when run next it will start iTunes and play the remembered track."

Its quiet a good script to handle iTunes manually.
If we can associate the script to MacBook's lid close and lid open events it will directly call the script and nothing can manually be handled.
Is it possible to call some script/application to be called when lid is closed and opened?
