iTunes Duplicate Songs......

is there any way to quickly find & delete
dulplicate songs in an iTunes Library ?

In itunes you can go to view and then show duplicates

great, i did that, and it is showing me the duplicates, but i cant figure out
if i should delete the entire duplicate library, because i am seeing both versions of the song in this view, and when i go back into the entire library, there is still only 2 versions of the song....?

Do not delete both you can delete one it shows you all the duplicates i.e if i had the same song 4 times in my library it would show all 4 of them when i view the duplicates

If you see 2 versions, delete only one of them.

BTW, it will show you all of the songs with same artist and song name. The same name from different albums or the same song with different formats are treated as duplicates.
