So I've just switched from my white MB (OSX) to my 'new' MBP (Leopard) and everything is fine except that when I open my EQ window it shoots up past the upper toolbar. I can see it with All Windows but selecting it merely shoots it back up into space.

This problem could happen to any window, I suppose, but it's happening to the EQ and being that i'm still new-ish to macs i'm not aware of any shortcut that will bring it back down (my last-ditch effort was to access Time Machine to see if the EQ had gone to heaven)

Any advice would be appreciated!

Remove the .plist first. Put it on your Desktop and then start iTunes, if it works, trash the .plist, if it still crashes, put your old .plist back.

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist

Alright, searched in preferences and then everywhere else, and not one .plist for iTunes anywhere. I tried the zooming technique that another user had success with...couldn't see the window. Anything else anyone can think of? Or is it time to re install iTunes?

Are you sure you're looking in the right place?

Macintosh HD -> Users -> [your user name] -> Library -> Preferences

Then look for any com.apple.itunes plist file.

Fixed!!

All fixed!!!

By going into exposee i could see the bottom edge of the window and managed to pull it down....crisis averted.

Lock it up!
