iTunes Equalizer Window Problem

I'm having a similar to another post I viewed BUT their solution does not work for me.My EQ suddenly no longer appears when I choose it from the Window menu. I've tried "minimizing" "zooming" "bring all to front" and still no EQ window!!! Any ideas??
