iTunes error 1004 stuck my phone in recovery helllllllp!

I saved my shsh blobs with tiny umbrella for 4.0.1 and started running the tss server, went to itunes did the custom restore - held shift and selected the 4.0.1 ipsw to restore. it goes through the restore process but right at the last stages an error message appears saying

The iPhone could not be restored. an unknown error occured (1004)

now the phone is stuck in recovery what should i do ! the phone was jailbroken before, although i dont see this as too relevant. please helpp

Remove WiFi sync desktop app off your pc, reboot and redo the restore.

Download RecBoot and choose the option Exit Recovery Mode. Should be fine after that.

but how would that solve the fact that the restore doesnt work?

oh ok i used tinyumbrella to kick device out of recory it seems to be restored now. why did this happen and was that a full complete restore of my iphone?

Read my reply above his. You probably used WiFi sync right? It's a known issue with the desktop client. Fully remove WiFi sync's desktop program and reboot your computer, and your phone will restore again as normal after the reboot.

yes that did a full restore of ur phone. this is ur 1st time using shsh blobs i assume? it always says error in the end u just have to kick it out of recovery mode in the end
