iTunes Error Only When iPhone Attached

When I sync my iPhone 4 Version 4.3.5(8L1) with iTunes 10.4.1.10, the iTunes text describing the "buttons" is missing when I select my phone in the "Devices" list to the left of the screen.

Here is a screen shot showing the missing text.

Note I have selected the "Summary" tab at the top. iTunes text is missing on the other tabs as well.

""What to do?"" I've removed and re-installed iTunes.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have!
