First of all, I have Windows XP.
I have a weird problem. Alright, I have recently bought $15.00 iTunes gift cards, and have been using them to buy songs from the iTunes music store. All of my songs are in .mp3 format, but the music store songs are all in .m4p. So, after some research on the internet, I created a new playlist and put all of my bought music store songs(13 total) in the new playlist. I then burned the playlist to my CD-R. After that, it now had my songs as an audio CD, which was fine. So, I clicked burn CD, and after getting a few errors, I had to change burning speed from Maximum possible, too 24x. The CD was now burned. Without taking out the CD, I imported my songs to MP3 format. I tested them in the iTunes library to make sure there was no stuttering or errors, and then moved them to my iPod.
So, I start playing my iPod, and in each one of the songs there is a pause for a couple of seconds or a stutter somewhere in the song or something. So, I'm thinking WTF. I got back to iTunes and play the songs. Everything is great. I load my iPod back in so iTunes can recognize it, and I play a song that had stuttering. I don't notice any stuttering. So, again I'm like WTF.
I ask to you guys: Do you see anything wrong with what I'm doing? Why are the songs only stuttering when I listen to my iPod?
Also, I have a lot of CD's that I was planning on burning for my car, but If I got an iPod adapter for the car, would it really matter if I had some songs in AAC/.m4p format? I guess I'm just obsessed with getting them all in .mp3.
Thanks again and I hope to hear some responses!
