itunes expert needed

I have a mbp with all my itunes information. i moved everything to a USB drive correctly.

my question is, how do I move all that information to my MacMini now which is my home theater computer with plex.

Have you also got your iTunes Library files on the USB Drive?? If so, just attach the drive to the mac mini, open iTunes holding down the option key, and select the library on the usb drive. Everything should work fine.

If your iTunes Library is still on your mbp....copy the entire iTunes folder to the usb drive, then follow the option key instructions. I do it all the time as I have two homes and regularly update the second library by taking my Drobo to the second location and over writing the drive I have there.

Of course, I dont use Plex or know if iTunes runs under that or if that how plex operates. So I may be firing you off the wrong way!! Hope not.
