iTunes for Yosemite and Windows 7 Art Album

I think the Art Album in OSX Yosemite or even in Mavericks i not working. I have album art in the folder or the mp3. In Windows 7 or 8 when I do a Get Info of the album/ artist I can go to the Artwork tab and add an image. In Yosemite or Maverick I am unable to do so even when attaching the image (jpg). In Windows 7 or 8 sometimes it does it automatically. Is there a mac utility that can do this automatically (like Windows WinAmp)? Thanks
