Itunes freezes + Adium no sound alerts.

I got a new macbook pro last week.
I downloaded Itunes 10 a few days ago, at first it worked fine, but now the library window freezes when i click 'music' or 'radio'. I can still click play and the songs will play, i just can't see the names in the library.

The only other programs i installed in the meantime are Adium + Growl and my Adobe CS5 master collection package.

I have another tiny problem, I can't hear my Adium sound alerts anymore, i tried everything but nothing seems to work..
help me please

Im also having issues with no sound via adium. I had 2008 macbook pro and it worked fine. I loaded it on new 2010 macbook pro and no notifications.
