iTunes freezing when plugging in iPhone?

I just tried to sync up my iPhone and when I plug it it, it will show the phone being charged, but not syncing. I wait for awhile, then try to click something in iTunes, but it doesn't do anything, I control alt delete and it shows iTunes not responding. I tried restarting both my PC, and did a hard and soft restart on my iPhone.
