Good afternoon everyone:

Starting yesterday, whenever I attempt to open my itunes account, it proceeds to show me my library then it freezes. I am unable to use any function on the screen.

After reading some tips yesterday, it seems that if I unplugged the internet connection I am able to able to use my itunes. With no internet connection, I cant get access to the itunes store.

Can anyone out there help me ??

Thanks

Might be having trouble using the Genius feature maybe? If you can launch iTunes with your internet disconnected, go to the Store menu and turn off Genius. Exit and relaunch iTunes after reconnecting your Ethernet cable, does it launch without freezing? If you want to re-enable Genius later you probably just need to pull the iTunes Library Genius.itdb file located in the iTunes directory (while iTunes is closed) and let iTunes recreate a new one the next time around.
